Today is the deadline to register for the KNCSB Missions Celebration preceding the KNCSB annual meeting. It will be held Monday, Oct. 13, from 4:15 to 6:30 p.m. at First Southern Baptist Church, Hutchinson, Kan.
CrossOver is an evangelistic event preceding the KNCSB annual meeting. Activities will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, Sunday, Oct. 12, and Monday morning, Oct. 13.
The Pastors’ Conference will be held from 1-4 p.m. “Toward Church Revitalization” is the theme.
This event will be held from 1-3 p.m. The group will meet in the lobby of CrossPoint Church and then caravan to downtown Hutchinson for shopping and fellowship.
The opening session of the KNCSB annual meeting will be held Monday evening, Oct. 13, from 6:30-8:40. It will include the president’s message by Andy Addis, the 2015 KNCSB budget presentation along with worship and praise led by the Kansas-Nebraska Singing Men. A retirement reception will follow this session. It will honor Marie Clark along with Charles and Janie Wood.
The second session of the KNCSB annual meeting will be held Tuesday morning, Oct. 14, from 9 to 11:35. It will include election of officers and the annual sermon by Matt Maestas, church planter in northeast Kansas.
The third session of the KNCSB annual meeting will be held Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 1:30 to 5 p.m. This session will include Bible studies, reports from various KNCSB and national SBC entities and introductions of new pastors and church staff members in Kansas-Nebraska Southern Baptist churches.
