Rebuilding in ‘Ike’ zone

The KNCSB disaster-relief rebuilding team will be serving in the area where Hurricane Ike hit. The team will partner with Nehemiah’s Vision, a ministry of First Baptist Church, Vidor, Texas.

An event for ministry wives will be held Monday afternoon, Oct. 12, preceding the KNCSB annual meeting in Wichita, Kan. “Tea Time for Ministry Wives” will be held from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, Wichita, Kan. Renowned pastor Brian Harbour will be the featured speaker. The event also will include remarks by R. Rex “Peck” Lindsay. KNCSB President Steve Holdaway will lead a question-and-answer session with Lindsay before lunch.
