This event is aimed at parents and youth leaders.

This event will feature renowned women’s Bible teachers Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer and Kay Arthur.

KNCSB will mail promotional materials for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions to churches.

SHINE is aimed at girls in grades 7-12. Its purpose is to help equip teen girls to make godly choices.

This session will feature the keynote address by Geoff Hammond, president of the North American Mission Board.

Various reports will be presented, and new pastors and staff members in KNCSB churches will be introduced.

This session will include election of officers and the annual sermon by Enrique Bluvan, Hispanic church planter strategist in Western Kansas Baptist Association.

This session will feature the president’s message by Steve Holdaway and will honor Peck Lindsay and his wife, Sue. A reception for the Lindsays will follow. The KNCSB Singing Men will provide special music.

The featured guests will be Jon & Priscilla Sapp, long-time missionaries in Africa, and John Mark and Cheryl Hansen, who work with Chinese people in Central America.

A carpool will leave Country Acres Baptist Church at 1 p.m. and return by 4 p.m. Patti Boswell, KNCSB ministry wives consultant, will lead this event. She is pastor’s wife at Immanuel Baptist Church. 

Renowned pastor Brian Harbour will be the featured speaker. The event also will include remarks by R. Rex “Peck” Lindsay. KNCSB President Steve Holdaway will lead a question-and-answer session with Lindsay before lunch.

This event is known as A.W.O.L. (A Work of Love).

Today is the registration deadline for the KNCSB Men’s Retreat. It will be held Oct. 16-17 at Webster Conference Center, Salina, Kan.

An event for ministry wives will be held Monday afternoon, Oct. 12, preceding the KNCSB annual meeting in Wichita, Kan. “Tea Time for Ministry Wives” will be held from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, Wichita, Kan. Women who plan to participate are asked to RSVP to Patti Boswell, KNCSB ministry wives consultant, at the e-mail address listed below.

The KNCSB WMU Annual Missions Celebration will be held Monday, Oct. 12, from 4:15 to 6:15 p.m. at Country Acres Baptist Church, Wichita, Kan. Dinner is included with this meeting, so pre-registration is required.
