Kansas Nebraska Convention of Southern Baptists (KNCSB)

Helping Churches Make Disciples of All People

KNCSB team serves in Portugal

The first KNCSB partnership team to Portugal left on Thursday, April 17, for nine days of ministry.

The team of 36 people consists mainly of the Kansas-Nebraska Singing Men and some of their spouses. In addition, Mari Jaquith, KNCSB director of Women in Missions and Ministry, is leading a group of women on the team.

Plans call for the Singing Men to stage concerts in a variety of settings, including churches, schools and community centers. Other ministry activities will include food distribution and working with children in a day camp.

David Manner of KNCSB is directing the Singing Men. He asks Kansas-Nebraska Southern Baptists to pray for safety, logistics and flexibility for the team members.
