Winter weather has halted most of the construction on the new multipurpose building at Webster Conference Center, Salina, Kan.
However, once the weather improves and the ground dries, volunteers will be needed to help with such construction tasks as:
“As the weather improves, we’ll have the need for all of these things to be done,” says Bill Cooke, WCC director of operations.
All of the long-term WCC volunteers are serving in warmer climates this winter. However, several groups will be coming in the spring and summer.
Three different groups will be working at WCC during spring break in March. An Arkansas group has signed up to serve this summer.
