College students from as far away as California, Montana and Texas descended on Greensburg, Kan., to serve—and not party—during spring break. The students, assisted by adult volunteers, helped to rebuild the tornado-devastated town.
KNCSB churches and campus ministries were among the groups participating. The effort will continue March 24-28. It’s not too late to participate. For more information, call Elijah “Touch” Touchton at 620.230.9962.
Touchton also is organizing a team to serve April 7-11 at Webster Conference Center, Salina, Kan.
The team will be helping to finish the front part of the new multipurpose building. Plans are calling for finishing that part of the building in time for the summer camping season.
