Spring-break volunteers needed in Greensburg

A spring-break building blitz is planned for Greensburg, the southwest Kansas town that was nearly destroyed by a May 2007 tornado.

“We need team members from Kansas-Nebraska to help build five homes,” says Elijah “Touch” Touchton, team leader for KNCSB rebuilding efforts in Greensburg. “We will need supervisors for both weeks.

“Our team will be in Greensburg the weeks of March 16-22 and March 23-29.

“We will be staying at First Southern Baptist Church in Pratt. Bring towels and bedding. We have 30 air mattresses, but if you have one bring it. Please e-mail me if you can go and when.”
