Several communities in Kansas are recovering from recent floods. Three hundred homes were flooded in Osawatomie, Kan., about an hour’s drive southwest of Kansas City.
Kansas-Nebraska Southern Baptist volunteers began rebuilding homes there on Monday, Aug. 27. The project is expected to be long term, and more volunteers are needed. Projects include floor repairs, wiring and some sheet rock.
Volunteers are staying at Osawatomie Southern Baptist Church and eating meals there.
