  • repeated behaviors such as threats, verbal abuse, and physical abuse

  • sending nude photos and/or unwanted sexual comments via electronic means

  • an act in which a person sexually touches another person without that person's consent, or coerces or physically forces a person to engage in a sexual act against their will

  • the use of pressure, manipulation, deception, or the misuse of authority or status to gain sexual contact without a person’s consent

  • an actual or attempted abuse of someone's position of vulnerability (such as a person depending on you for survival, food rations, school, books, transport or other services), differential power or trust, to obtain sexual favours, including but not only, by offering money or other social, economic or political advantages; this includes trafficking and prostitution

  • unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal, visual, or physical conduct of a sexual nature; sexual innuendo; offensive jokes; repeated unwanted invitations

  • anal or oral copulation with another person especially of the same sex; copulation with an animal

  • the act of urging strongly; the act of enticing or luring especially into evil; to proposition (someone) especially as, or in the character of, a prostitute

  • the act or crime of willfully and repeatedly following or harassing another person in circumstances that would cause a reasonable person to fear injury or death especially because of expressed or implied threats (can be in person, but also can occur via telephone or social media)

  • the timeframe when the prosecution must bring forth a charge for a crime

  • an individual who has endured any form of sexual abuse or sexual violence

  • medical care provided remotely to a patient in a separate location using two-way voice and visual communication (as by computer or cell phone)

  • someone in whom confidence is placed and who gives reliable advice; a peer, mentor, or other trusted church leader who can be relied upon to hold one’s confidence and who can provide unbiased advice

  • any adult aged 18 or over who, owing to disability, mental function, age, illness, or traumatic circumstances, may not be able to take care of or protect themselves
