Missions Friends
Mission Friends is the church missions organization for birth through pre-first grade. Its primary objective is to teach missions attitudes and concepts to all preschoolers. Mission Friends may be held any time, any where a teacher can find preschoolers, if the parents or caregivers agree. This could be a part of any day care or weekday program.
Mission Friends can also serve as an entry point to missions, or to Christ, for parents. The Mission Friends Class for Parents provides:
- Information about the missions areas and the missionaries that preschoolers are learning about in Mission Friends.
- Suggestions for activities to use at home to reinforce preschool missions learning.
- Help in understanding child growth and development, child advocacy, and parenting skills.
- A vehicle for parents to become partners in prayer.
- An opportunity to introduce parents to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
