Arkansas announces New Orleans dates

The Arkansas Baptist Builders will continue working in New Orleans on a limited basis in 2009.

KNCSB has a partnership with the Arkansas convention, which has been involved in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina struck in late August 2005. The 2009 dates are:

• March (spring break dates are already full)
 
• April 11-18
 
• May 24-30
 
• July 11-18
 
• Aug 29-Sept. 5

• Operation Noah Rebuild (Operation Noah is sponsored by the Southern Baptist North American Mission Board)
 
• Baptist Crossroads Habitat for Humanity project: This massive building project in New Orleans’s Upper 9th Ward is now scheduling spring-break volunteers for 2009. World Changers, also sponsored by NAMB, has scheduled three 2009 summer projects in New Orleans. However, two of these projects are already full. The June 8-13 project has space for about 60 people.
