Building projects continue in Western Kansas

Kansas-Nebraska Baptist Builders needs volunteers for upcoming projects.

The group specializes in electrical wiring. More volunteers, both skilled and unskilled, are always needed. If you can’t participate, please pray for Baptist Builders and help recruit volunteers.

During the third week of August, Baptist Builders planned to finish rough-in wiring in the 5,000-square-foot addition at Syracuse Southern Baptist Church, Syracuse, Kan.

Plans called for the group to return to Sublette, Kan., and start working Monday, Aug. 30, at Sublette Southern Baptist Church. The group will be installing more than 100 ceiling lights in the worship center.

Baptist Builders earlier installed rough-in wiring at Sublette Southern Baptist Church. The church plans to dedicate the 11,500-square-foot addition on Sunday, Oct. 17.

The Kansas-Nebraska group has been working with Volunteer Christian Builders in both Sublette and Syracuse. VCB is based in Texas.

Baptist Builders will be working in other places this fall. Details will be announced when the projects are finalized.
