Plans are now gearing up for ministry during the annual College World Series in Omaha, Neb. 9th Inning Ministry™, led by Jay Dess, spearheads a variety of outreach activities.
Hospitality areas will be set up around Rosenblatt Stadium, home of the College World Series, as well as in other parts of Omaha. Volunteers will be distributing free bottled water, labeled with the plan of salvation, along with free literature.
The annual Omaha Baseball Breakfast will be held Saturday, June 14, from 8-10 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Central in Omaha. Bob Herold will be the keynote speaker. He is currently head baseball coach at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. A former professional player, Herold was hitting coach for the Kansas City Royals. He was named “Coach of the Year 2007” by the Nebraska Baseball Coaches Association. Find more information
