Volunteers needed in Atchison, Kan.

Celebration Church, a new church plant in Atchison, Kan., needs volunteers on Saturday, Feb. 25.

The church will be renovating the youth room at the local YMCA, the site of its weekly youth ministry called “The UpRising.”

“It is currently reaching about 40 teenagers here in Atchison,” said Pastor Scott Murphy. “We are very thankful to the YMCA for allowing us to use their facility for free and would like to give back to them in this way.”

“We could also use lots of able-bodied people to help us on the 25th. Please contact us right away if you, your small group, or your youth group would like to be a part of this renovation or if you have contacts with any stores or businesses that would consider making a donation of supplies or materials.”
