KNCSB team to return to Amsterdam

God is at work in an unreached people group in Amsterdam where a KNCSB team will serve June 12-20.

The team serves with the Super Summer international outreach project through IGoGlobal. The Super Summer international project began in 2008 and volunteers have served in Tokyo and Amsterdam.

This year marks the fifth trip to Amsterdam where KNCSB volunteers work with immigrants from a country that is closed to traditional gospel outreach. The group of about 12 people will go prayerwalking and attempt to build relationships in order to share the gospel.

“The work is growing,” team leader Terry McIlvain said of the ministry to the immigrant people group. “We work with a local congregation in that community.”

Workers in Amsterdam are seeking to develop leaders to hold Bible studies with the targeted people group.

Kansas-Nebraska Southern Baptists are urged to pray for the KNCSB team. Ask God to open doors to share the gospel with the people group.

Announcements about the 2018 Super Summer international mission trip will be made during camp. Super Summer will be held June 26-Aug. 4 at Webster Conference Center, Salina, Kan.
