“Beautiful Mess” is the theme of Wonderful Weekend for Women 2016. It will be held Sept. 16-17 at Webster Conference Center, Salina, Kan.

Janelle Irwin will be the featured speaker. She is president and co-founder of the Hang Tough Foundation in Tallahassee, Fla.

She and her husband, Brady, have two children, Katelyn and Grayson. In 2013, Grayson, who was 11 months old, was diagnosed with leukemia and given only a 10-percent chance of survival. He underwent two years of intensive chemotherapy. Grayson is now in remission and is thriving.

During her family’s journey, Janelle saw the need in her community for an organization that could serve families during their journeys with childhood illnesses, life-altering medical conditions and special needs. The Hang Tough Foundation was formed in early 2015. Read more
