NAMB announces 2015 Send Conference
The North American Mission Board is developing plans for its third Send North America Conference Aug. 3-4, 2015, at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
The conference encourages, equips and mobilizes lay leaders in local congregations to penetrate lostness in North America.
Almost 2,000 people attended the first Send North America Conference at First Baptist Church, Woodstock, Ga., in 2012. The attendance more than doubled in 2013 at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas.
The 2015 Send North America Conference will have capacity for more than 10,000 participants. Many of the breakout and workshop sessions will focus on God’s call for mobilizing lay leaders through the Send North America strategy.
Send North America Experience Tour will lead up to the Send North America Conference.
“The tour carries the God-sized vision for pushing back lostness in North America and awakens and empowers you to know that your life on mission matters,” the Send North America Experience Web site says.
The tour is traveling to multiple cities in 2014 and 2015, all leading to the Send North America Conference in Nashville on Aug. 3-4, 2015.
Each event includes music and a message on how you can live your life on mission. Some events include pre-event workshops.
