New gazebo at WCC honors Kyle Pelton

A new prayer gazebo in memory of Kyle Pelton was recently erected between the chapel and the swimming pool at Webster Conference Center, Salina, Kan.

Kyle grew up attending children’s camp and Super Summer. He also served on the Super Summer collegiate staff.

He was a May 2016 graduate of Kansas State University with a major in accounting and a minor in Chinese. At the time of his death he was working in Wichita and was an accountant at Textron Aviation.

He was continuing his life of missions when he was killed in a traffic accident on Nov. 23, 2016.

Prayer was a key factor in Kyle’s life. This gazebo will be used to remember his passion for his Savior and to pray for others to be saved and to follow Christ obediently.

He is survived by his parents, Galen and Robin Pelton of Ulysses, Kan.; two brothers, Jeremy Pelton of Louisville, Ky., Logan Pelton of Manhattan, Kan.; two sisters, Nikki and Makenna Pelton both of Ulysses, Kan.; and grandmother, Leila M. Pelton of Burdett, Kan.
