New matching grant for WCC

A new $100,000 matching grant challenge for Webster Conference Center has just been announced.

The latest issue of the WCC e-newsletter says, “A family in Kansas has stepped forward and challenged the members of KNCSB churches to give again. This family has promised to match any gift given to WCC, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000.

“If KNCSB church members will give $100,000, this family will match that gift with another $100,000 and the Multi-Purpose Building WILL BE COMPLETED, with the possible exception of the elevator.

“The exciting part is that if we do this soon, there is a team from Arkansas that wants to come and donate their skills to enclose the walkway between the Chapel and the Multi-Purpose Building this May. If gifts come in during the next two months, we can purchase the materials and this team will get the two buildings connected which is one of the last major projects to be done to complete the building.”

Update: The team from Arkansas had to cancel its plans to come to Webster. That was due to having to make up snow days at school. Please pray for another team to step up and fill this critical need.

Make checks out to Webster Conference Center, designate them for “Matching Grant,” and mail them to KNCSB, 5410 SW 7th St., Topeka, KS 66606-2398.
