Southern Baptists are asked to pray for the Baptist team being detained in Haiti.

Richard Land, another SBC leader, has challenged Southern Baptists to use Super Bowl activities to remember Haiti and hungry people in the United States. Land is president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission.
Land said Super Bowl activities provide the perfect opportunity to collect cash donations for Haiti through the SBC World Hunger Fund and gather food for local ministries. Learn more about the World Hunger Fund
A medical team from Arkansas, KNCSB’s partnership convention, recently served in Haiti.
“Haiti was at its best a poor nation. Now, hope has been ripped from the people,” one of the team members said.
