Save the dates for 2016 KNCSB events

Kansas-Nebraska Southern Baptists are urged to begin putting 2016 dates for KNCSB training events on their calendars.

The 2016 Vacation Bible School Jumpstart Clinic will be held Saturday, April 2, at Webster Conference Center, Salina, Kan. It will focus on “Submerged,” the 2016 VBS theme from LifeWay Christian Resources.

Morning core conferences will focus on:

  • VBS directors and pastors
  •  
  • Preschool
  •  
  • Children’s Bible study
  •  
  • Music, missions and crafts
  •  
  • Spanish preschool
  •  
  • Spanish children


The 2016 KNCSB Normative Church Conference will be held Friday night, April 22, and Saturday, April 23, at Webster Conference Center. This event is aimed at pastors and leaders in churches that have fewer than 150 in attendance.

“Developing Spiritual Leaders” will be the theme. Chuck Lawless will be the featured speaker. He is vice president of graduate studies and ministry centers at Southeastern Seminary, Wake Forest, N.C. Lawless also is professor of evangelism and missions at the seminary.

Lawless has written several books including:
