Volunteers continue to touch lives in New Orleans

A New Orleans woman found herself at the bottom of an emotional pit as she struggled with post-Katrina life in the stricken city.

She finally ended up at Gentilly Baptist Church, headquarters of the Arkansas Baptist Builders. A young electrician who came to New Orleans from Garden City, Kan., was one of the volunteers who helped her get back on her feet. Read more
