Volunteers needed to serve in Chile
In February 2010 a massive earthquake shook Concepcion, Chile, and more than 200 people lost their lives.
For some time after the earthquake, Southern Baptists were there providing food and constructing small living quarters for those who lost all they had.
A year and a half later, Chilean Baptists have asked International Commission to come back and do an evangelistic project in Concepcion. One person said, “The pump has been primed and we need now to spread the Gospel door to door.”
International Commission works in cooperation with the Southern Baptist International Mission Board.
Would you be willing to allow God to use you and your personal testimony to lead several people to the Lord? As Baptists we took care of as much of their physical needs as possible. Now we reach out to them for their spiritual needs.
The Chilean Baptists have asked us to come and share the Good News with their lost family and friends. Will you accept the call from God to be a laborer in the mission field? Jesus said in Matthew’s gospel, “The laborers are few.” Will you join in the call to go Nov. 10-21, 2011?
