Week of Prayer for Easter offering approaches

Week of Prayer for Send>>North America and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering will be held March 1-8.

Send>>North America is the North American Mission Board’s plan to bring hope to an ever-increasing population by empowering Southern Baptist churches to plant more congregations across North America. Send>>North America’s goal is to see 1,500 churches planted each year for a total of 15,000 new churches by the year 2022.

Southern Baptists’ annual Easter offering is named after Annie Armstrong (1850-1938.)

Annie Armstrong led women to unite in missions endeavors. That ultimately led to forming Woman’s Missionary Union, for which she served as the first corresponding secretary.

The 2015 national goal for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is $60 million. Every penny goes to support missionaries and their work.
