Church Leader,

Welcome to the 2025 Church Forward Annual Meeting as we gather for the 80th year as a convention of churches. It is always a joy to come together and celebrate what God has done in and through the churches and ministries of Kansas and Nebraska Southern Baptists.

If this is your first Church Forward Annual Meeting, let me encourage you to get to know this great group of pastors, ministry leaders, church members, associational leaders, church planters, collegiate ministry leaders, and convention staff. The leaders gathered here represent various churches, associations, ethnicities, cultures, generations, and affinities from all across Nebraska and Kansas.

As we gather, let me encourage you to pray that every report shared, message preached, story told, and vote taken will help us all to be more Kingdom minded and discipleship focused. Please pray that the decisions we make in these meetings will help us reach with a gospel presence the dozens of unreached counties in our two states. Finally, pray that when we leave on Tuesday afternoon to go back to our mission fields across Kansas and Nebraska that we will remember it is the gospel that unites our convention of churches, so we never have to do these ministries alone.

Sincerely,

Dr. David Manner, Executive Director

We are excited to parter with the North American Mission Board’s National Evangelism Team to provide a comprehensive Evangelism Kit Training designed to equip Pastors, Pastoral Staff, and Mission Leaders with the tools and resources to create an evangelism-focused culture in your church.

This special event will take place Monday afternoon, culminating in a complimentary dinner hosted by NAMB.
